That!

Carter is riding his new bike everywhere. When he reaches the wall he can even turn it around by himself. Last night I left him alone for a minute and when I returned he was riding it around with a big grin as if to say...see what I can do mommy! You want a piece of me?
This is really his excited face. He smiles so big you can see all of his teeth and pats his chest with both hands. I've been trying to teach him sign language, but I don't know what this is the sign for...maybe he is teaching me to sign instead of me teaching him.
Carter stuffs everything that will fit into his Busy Ball Popper. If you look closely you can see some Hot Wheels and a medicine dropper in there. I think he was trying to get the cup to fit down the hole too!

The magic cup combines with the busy ball popper for another hour of fun.

What is hiding in the cup?

Carter was petting his doggie very nicely until...

I turned it on and the dog starting barking.
He did not seem to like that so he threw the dog.

Dancing with my choo-choo

Swing those arms!

I can't quiet make it up there. Maybe this pillow will help me out!?!

Frog Face

Carter is learning words so quickly now. Last time I wrote about his speak he only knew three. Now he is adding them so quickly I can't keep up...doggie, Casey (the dog), clap-clap (while clapping his hands), cookie, kitty, that (with a pointing gesture of course), soft, tiger, horse, and pig. Carter's favorite game at home is to whine until someone gives him a boost to get on the couch. Then he slides off and repeat, repeat, repeat. At least Mark and I get a work out too!

Since CW has mastered clapping and saying a few words maybe he will decide it is time to walk soon and say MOMMY!?! For now he crawls or walks on his knees to get around. Those little knee are SO calloused, but I suppose they are just getting ready for all the climbing, running, and jumping that little boys do.

I am discovering that all this big boy stuff can be hard on a mommy's ego. Carter has decided he doesn't want to be rocked to sleep. He and daddy read some books then I take him and give him a few dozen kisses and put him in his crib.

Last Wednesday the family ENT inserted some tiny tubes in Carter's ears after 7 ear infections in the last 8 months. Hopefully that will be the end of ear infections! He did great at the hospital. He cried for a few minutes when he woke up, but a handful of cheerios and something to drink fixed that. Now if all those teeth would just quit bothering him!

Clear ears Carter says to stay cool this week! atd
