Grab your shades Easter Bunny!

Digging for Gold!
More Egg Loot! The Easter Bunny was all set to put Teddy Graham's in Carter's basket.

I had to call the Easter Bunny on Easter Eve to tell him Carter discovered M&M's.

M&M's and Dodd's go hand in hand you know.

Kite Flying on Easter Afternoon

Carter loved his Elmo kite.

Mommy loved that it only cost a buck!

Everyone enjoyed flying kites. No injuries this year!
Kites begin to tangle and the kiddo's finish up outdoor fun with a trip to see the neighbor's horses with Papa and Grandma.

Mark and I decided to brave a trip to Lexington with Carter Easter weekend. The last time we went did that he was 1 or 2 months old and cried 90% of the trip. This trip went MUCH better thanks to Carter's fascination with Thomas and the invention of portable DVD players for the car. He watched the same DVD for about 8 hours. Mark and I were glad he didn't want the volume to loud. However, we could probably still recite it in our sleep.
It was a wonderful weekend. The ENTIRE family of NINE made it to church to see Emma and Gary in a Passion Play on Saturday afternoon and again Easter morning. Grandma and Papa gave us the guest room so we had a nice comfy bed. Lisa was an EXCELLENT host and had tons of activities for the kids. Gary assembled lots of toys! Carter LOVED being with his cousins this time more than ever before. He would cry because he had to go to bed at night. He talked about Emma and Elijah all the way home. He even told everyone goodnight tonight as he was falling asleep.
Now I must start taking lessons on how to make Carter understand what Easter is really about in a few years. I'm sure Emma and Elijah can help him with that too. Elijah knew all the answers in kids church today. It was too cute.
More pictures later this week! cho-cho atd
