CAKE, CAKE, CAKE!

Turing 2 required a much more laid back party. I tried to keep things very simple and the guest list very short. It was a great day and everyone had lots of fun. My favorite moment happened after most of the guest had left. Carter went to the kitchen and got a handful of cake from the table and came to the living room where everyone could see him shove it in his mouth. Since we all laughed he did it again.

I have to give Mark his due praise. He is always so helpful and the best husband I could ever ask for. However, he went above and beyond today by cleaning up EVERYTHING while Carter and I took a nap. They just don't make them like that anywhere except West Virgina!

Last year after Carter's party I remember being so touched by all the people in our lives. It is a wonderful feeling to know we are surrounded all those friends, some new ones too, and loving family. Thank you all for being a part of our lives!
