Where are you Grandma and Papa?

Offical Bear Hunters

We are happy to report there were NO bears at Mamouth Cave today! When I told Carter we were going to go in a cave he wanted to know if there were going to be bears inside. I'm guessing this has to do with the song he sings "We are going on a bear hunt." He also said Grandma was probably afraid of the bears in the cave. Papa and Grandma had a good laugh about that one.

Lisa and I were optimistic when we decided to take the Historic Tour. It was 2 hours long, had tons of steps, and covered about 2 miles. The kids were terrific. I don't think I heard anyone complain during the entire tour. They really were the best behaved kids out of the entire group of 200!

Carter was looking for dinos and bears in the cave. He kept saying we weren't in a cave we were in a tunnel. As he feel asleep tonight he asked if we could eat ice cream in the tunnel next time we went. =-) atd
