The Ripatoe's came for a visit a few weeks ago. Carter and Levi wrestled more this time more than ever before. They both the same weight and height so they are a great match for each other.
I finally got a new camera. 12.1 mega pixel's, dual processors, & 1 million times zoom still didn't do much for amateur photography skills.
Carter asked if he could put some sauce on his feet after his bath a few nights ago when he got out of the bathtub. I was a little puzzled as he began to rummage though the drawers in the bathroom. Eventually I figured out he was asking for powder.
There is a scene in one of the Thomas episodes that Mark and I often quote: "We only have one." This has been a running joke between us for over a year. Today Carter picked up on the joke. As he was going to sleep tonight he said to me "We only have three." He used the conductors voice and I cracked up laughing.
Mark called me for the first time ever yesterday when I was out having "girl time." Carter was asking for tater tots NOW. I don't think he knew that one could eat tater tots at home until our neighbors served them at a cook out recently. Since Mark is a stellar Dad he took Carter to go get some tater tots. Carter feel asleep before they got 5 miles from the house. He must have been very hungry?
Carter has discovered a love for climbing, jumping, & crawling. There is a purple bus that comes to his school called the "Fun Bus" and is loaded with equipment to do all the climbing, jumping, & tumbling a 3 year old can do in 45 minutes. You'd think Friday was renamed to FunBusDay.
Today we went to Monkey Joe's to squeeze in some more jumpy, sliding, bouncy, pouncy time today. I think I love Monkey Joe's as much as Carter does. However, today CW was able to maneuver all the obstacles by himself. At least he did still want me to play with him. Next time he is planing on taking someone his size to play with. =-(
Carter is such a little bundle of knowledge right now. And he wants to learn about everything these days. He is counting to 30 & can go to 100 by 10's. Sounding out everything. Writing his name on occasion. And wants to know what letter everything starts with. I wonder what he will do once he gets to school. Maybe we can just skip school and stay home and play?
