The Birthday Girl & some lil admirers!
I'm not sure who "surprising" your birthday party is when your 70-ish, but we try. No one told Granny we were having a party until the cake arrived. She was pleasantly surprised and let Carter help her blow out the candles.
It was a beautiful spring-ish day and we played soccer for a while outside. Carter wanted 3 people on his team to play against one opponent. Luckily I got picked for Carter's team. AJ let Uncle Geary take him on a short stroller ride too.
On the way home we stopped and bought candy. Mommy needed some sugar to keep her awake on the drive. That was the second trip I've taken to Tompkinsville without Mark. AJ was so content the entire way that I'm a little scared to try it a third time. =-)
