Ice Cream cones in the back seat after a night at the ball field.
Lil slugger is ready to go!!
Carter has continued his swimming lessons this week. I saw him jump in the water from the side of the pool today and doggie paddle back to the side of the pool. This is a HUGE "leap" compared to the lil guy who wouldn't get his face wet just a few weeks ago!
Carter had a busy week with t-ball too. He is doing better at hitting. As defined by actually hitting the ball instead of the tee. The team had a mid-week game this week. The kids were just not into playing and it was very comical to watch even the coaches kids play in the dirt!
AJ is a ball of fun. He still calls me daddy despite the new rhyme I've been telling him. "Lama lama I am your mama. I don't have red pajamas, but I am your mama!"
AJ's hair really needs a trim but I'm just not ready to endure that trip to the salon. He was a real stinker when I took him on Easter weekend. Plus his hair is SO baby soft and I know that will go away the more it is cut.
My favorite AJ-isms are "where go" as in where did he/it go? He completes the statement with hands in the air. Next is belly but and push but (but = button). Doodle is what he calls Fruity Pebbles his favorite breakfast cereal. Hocks are socks.
AJ is growing very fond of trains. In fact both boys are playing with trains and building tracks this week. It has been very nice to see Carter play with his beloved trains again and watch AJ become memorized with little wooden locomotives.
Carter still has some cute phrases, but they are quickly disappearing with learning "correct" English by talking to others. However he did say, "he shooted him in the eye." while watching a Tom and Jerry video with Emma and Elijah recently. Cute things like paper dry (aka paper towel) are long gone for our growing little man.
