I captured some funny photos this weekend! I took a series of shots of Mark trying get Mr. Wiggle-y dressed. Pictures of Carter eating are too cute. (The 4th picture is pretty much his reaction after every bite!) Mark took some of Carter in his jersey sitting in the recliner. Carter looks like a huge line-backer in those photos b/c the jersey is too big. But the best ones came when I was trying to take his picture in a little chair. I use this chair to take pictures of him around the 10th of each month. This time he refused to sit in the chair so I could get a good picture. At first he was leaning forward and reaching for the camera. (If you look closely you can see teeth.) Then he decided to be most definite and stand in the chair. Mark's arms are there ready to catch him in the photo, but he is actually standing there on his own. Strong little stubborn boy today.
Eating is going a little better thanks to Mark. Most of you know I have NO patience plus I don't like him being all messy. Mark also gave him a sippy cup this week too. Lots of new things to master! At least Carter isn't crying now when he sees a spoon coming for his lips. Carter ate two meals today and drank 10 oz of formula at bed time! No wonder he has so much energy.
The jumperoo is still Carter's favorite past time. He will jump for 30 minutes or more! Though he has started fussing if we leave him in the room alone. Carter has also become fascinated with the felines. He loves to watch them move around. Since all they do is sleep his entertainment with that activity is limited =-). He seems totally unamused by our Christmas tree.
I have to share one more thing. Carter has been stuffy for several weeks now. In my search to help him I found this product http://www.nosefrida.com/. I gag every time I think about it. That is really GROSS. I love how all the kids are so still and happy in the pictures on the website. So anyway I'm looking at the humidifiers at Babies 'R Us this weekend and see a nasal aspirator that plays 12 tunes! I'm sure 12 tunes would calm a baby whose nose is being suctioned . I'll have to say that is one of the more use-less products I've seen.
Carter's List for Santa: an unclogged nose, a full belly, and a speedy recovery for Great Uncle Joel! atd
