Keeping daddy's spot warm while he is away. Mark went to Florida last week for 7 days of very hard work last week. I'm proud to report that Carter survived a week of mommy! It really was a great experience to know that I can take care of Carter and won't break him...but he did get his first owie this week. Friday I noticed a red spot on his palm. Saturday we went to the doctors office to get out a tiny little splinter. Carter didn't seem like the spot bothered him much except for the 30 seconds of screaming he did while Dr. Bailes held him down to remove it.I'm glad this one didn't involve blood or other bodily fluids and could wait until the pediatricians office opened! (Plus everyone hates the ER on the weekends!) Hop-hop from C.W.! atd
