until I started driving my trucks in the front door!

Carter loves him some Cookie Monster.
taken this summer. My oh my how quickly babies grow.
A firetruck that makes LOTS of noise!
Carter and mommy spent lots of time together over the last week. Lots of cuddles and tissues and visits with friends.
Carter is repeating everything we ask him too. He loves Cookie Monster and cookies too. Cookie was his first word so I guess that is appropriate. All Carter ate for dinner last night was broccoli. I told Mark I never thought I'd worry about my child because all he ate was broccoli. Then today at lunch he only french fries. Guess that will teach me to fret over him eating well.
Several times before I've mentioned that Carter wanted to lay in his bed and go to sleep on his own. He has always came back to mommy for rocking after a few nights. This time though I think he is through with rocking with mommy. For the past few weeks he reaches for his bed when I try to sit in his room to rock him. I still have to stay in the room until he gets done wiggling but I'm still sad that my boy is getting so independent. Just about the time I get sad he decides to start waking up in the middle of the night like a newborn.
Tomorrow is back to school and work for everyone at the Dodd house. It has been a wonderful two weeks together (even if all this time off wasn't pre-planned.)
Carter says everyone should have cookies for breakfast tomorrow! atd
