Thomas' Biggest Fans!
Our long time friends the Sugg's. We got to ride in a dining car, but weren't
allowed to eat or drink on the train...hum.
Real train cars are SHINY!
Only the most die-hard Thomas fans stick it out to the last minute to get a picture before Thomas leaves the station!
Our Day Out With Thomas had a few challenges. Carter was up until 11pm the night before and didn't want to get up to go meet Thomas the next day. Mark felt horrible because he had a sinus infection. I wore jeans and was sweating before we got out of the car. Carter didn't want to take his socks off to jump on the inflatables nor did he want to get a Thomas tattoo. However, he was in Thomas bliss playing with all the train tables at the event. In fact, when it was our time to get on the train CW was screaming "I no want to ride Thomas," because he was too busy playing at the train tables.
Our ride took us past Tent City, so the scenery was awesome! After the ride we stood in line to get our picture made in front of Thomas. We were the last picture that was taken before Thomas chugged away with his next set of passengers! CW enjoyed a lunch of cookies and juice with his friend Karley while I purchased an over-priced family photo. Next we headed to the gift shop where Carter scored 3 new trains; Spenser, Toby, and Diesel.
There were lots of other cool things to do like petting goats, visiting Sir Topham Hatt, and mini train rides. We decided to forgo these opportunities because mommy was melting in her denim. Which is probably why CW scored so big in the gift shop. All in all I it was a good day with some funny memories made. atd
