This is a video of the historic flood that occurred on May 1st & 2nd in Middle Tennessee. There are some very touching pictures at the 3:17 & 6:27 mark. The pictures of the Hendersonville area (where we live) start around the 5:50 minute mark.
Both Dodd families were fortunate to be home when the rain started, and did not to have any damage. However, Grandma will not be working at the Grand Ole Opry for some time as the Gaylord Complex was flooded.
Statewide, 29 people lost their lives and some are still missing 2 weeks later. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost loved ones during this tragic time.
