Refusing to smile for mommy. Helping Mommy cook? Mommy cooks??

CW came to find me after Mark gave him a bath Friday night and said,

"Do I look good dressed up like this mommy?" Baseball cap, train shirt, Santa Pants.

My reply, "You are the most handsome big boy I know." =-)

Sadie, Carter & Alexander during the INDOOR parade. It was pouring so the kids marched down the hallway lined with parents. The best part was when a parent leaned up against the fire pull station and set off the fire alarm!

Carter was ALMOST asleep Friday night when he popped his head up and said, "I'm going to married Sadie Wen cause she is a girl and I'm a boy." Mustering up a calm voice I asked him to repeat himself after all I was almost asleep too. He repeated himself, and I asked if he has talked to Sadie about his yet. He said Sadie told him they could because he was a boy and she was a girl.

CW talks about girls changing their names when they get married quiet often. Probably because one of his teachers go married last year. Next week he will probably start calling her Sadie Dodd. I'm not happy about Carter having another female in his life, but I'm comforted by the fact that Mark saw Sadie playing with another friend last week! Perhaps I will still be his best girl for a few more years! atd
