Big Boy School

We hung out with Papa and Grandma today. Mark, Carter, Grandma & Papa played with Lightening McQueen and his friends while I slept in Papa's big comfy chair. I guess being pregnant does have a few perks. I'll put up some pictures later this week.

Carter will start a new school on Thursday. Big boy school. PK through 8th grade kind of school. We have been at Primrose for 3 years. I never thought I would be this emotional about leaving there or about him starting school. Something about not walking him inside everyday and wearing uniforms is tearing at my heart strings. He is very excited about it, but I don't think he has realized he will be with a new group of kids yet.

I'm really interested to see how tucking his shirt in and wearing a belt goes. I'm know he has never worn a belt and I'm pretty sure he has NEVER has his shirt tucked in either. He is very proud of his little polo's and khaki shorts. He was happy to pick out various color shirts. We even went in the dressing room at the store to try them on. I showed him how he would have to wear his shirt so we will see if he leaves it that way at school.

Baby Andrew is still cooking. The group of mom's I get together with once a month had a "diaper her up and wipe her down" party for me on Saturday night. I was SO overwhelmed by every ones generosity that I literally cried on the way home. There are 4 or 5 regulars in the group but the other ladies change monthly. People I had never meet before brought us gifts! I came home with over 300 diapers, a zillion wipes, and other stuff too.

Baby also has some clothes washed and ready. His bassinet is waiting for him thanks to Mark, and the plans for his room are moving along. For the most part every one's bag is packed for the hospital. Now more waiting. =-)
