This was a day we would all like to forget sooner rather than later. AJ has to have a hernia repair surgery. It was "routine" and something we knew was coming since he was born. The nurse said, "we will take good care of him." as they scooped him up from my arms and went thought the BIG swinging doors. I sat there stunned with tears in my eyes thinking, "You won't take as good of care of him as I would."

As Mark & I rounded the corner to the recovery cubical we found our little tot lazily sucking on a bottle of apple juice with no problem what so ever! Little stinker would have NEVER taken a bottle that easily for us.

A week & several doses of good pain medicine later all was back to normal...except that now AJ likes to wake up 4+ times every night. YIKES!
