Hot Time in the Summer!

AJ loves to play in the dishwasher. He knows the sound of it opening & closing. You can hear him heading to the kitchen to check out the contents when he hears the screech of the door & the rattle of the flatware. He is a fast little crawler. This ball pit was Carter's gift on his 1st birthday from Mom & Dad. We store it in the bonus room & get it out once or twice a year. It is always a hit! AJ loved to try to climb out of it head first. Thankfully I don't think he had any major injuries from doing so. He also LOVED to throw the balls everywhere & would giggle, giggle, giggle when we tossed the balls at him. Carter loved this game because he got to throw things at his little brother. (Photo taken July 15, 2012)

AJ knows what "lay down" means. He doesn't like it & will only do it for a second. The boy will NOT go to sleep in my arms. After 30 minutes to an hour of rocking, patting, etc I put him in his bed. He precedes to stand up and cry / scream. I tell him to lay down, which he does for about 2 seconds before he is up again. Awe the joys of motherhood. 

Lil' bits is babbling up a storm & loves to pull up on the kitchen table chairs. He has had a few bad spills with the chairs that none of us care to mention. He LOVES Cheerios & hates veggies.

Carter had fun at two half days of church camp for preschoolers & VBS in July. We have no idea what he did while he was there because he says he sat in the corner & it was no fun. However he wanted to go everyday so it really couldn't have been "that" bad right??

He also played at the Watson's, went to story time at the library with Jordan & dressed up like a cow for free Chic-fil-A! Good times!
