Circle of Engine! That's alot of trains, Carter!

Carter has been very busy the past few weeks with play dates, learning to play board games, naps and such. He is talking so much I can't keep up the Carter-ism's on the blog. He sings so many songs too. Jingle bells, ring-around-the rosie, farmer in the dell, Rodolph, Down by the Station, and a new one about a fire truck that I had to google to find out the words. Carter will say, "you don't know how the rest of it goes mommy?" Like I am the silliest person the planet for not knowing all the songs he knows.

Carter-ism's for the Holiday's:

• That's a great plan?
• Where we going?
• I don't wanta go to school, followed by, You stay with me at school?
• I don't wanta go to (fill in the blank) I wanta go to Thomas store.
• I just wanta sit right here and think about it. (complete with hands on face and face tilted to the side)
• We will have to see about that.
• Where are my hum-a-na worms? (3 little plastic pink worms he got with a tackle box)
• Frost the Snow (Carter leaves off the man from snowman). =-)

At times he has so much to say that he can't get all the words out in the order he wants to say them. He keeps going till he gets the order of the words the way he wants them. Tonight, when he was suppose to be going to sleep, Carter had a 10 minute conversation with Mark about everything Carter wanted to go do this week. I just amazed listening to Carter talk, and knowing he was procrastinating going to bed/sleep.

We did have a tad of snow this weekend. Carter didn't seem to interested in going outside and he has a nasty cold so we didn't so out and play. I'm not sure there was enough for a snowball much less a snow man!

I can't seem to get my Christmas photos posted. I didn't use my camera much because I wanted to watch Carter instead of take pictures. (Lisa took some great pictures but I can't seem to get them to post tonight.) I must say I think Carter was such a gracious gift recipient. He wanted to play with each gift before moving on to the next. I think this sweetness was a bit spoiled by others who wanted him to move though the process more quickly, so don't except such a polite boy in June. atd
