I was a little surprised that Carter didn't get scared at some points during the movie. There was alot of shooting and loud noises. One of the previews kind of freaked him out a bit but other than that he was happy eating an ENTIRE box of gummy bears & some popcorn. It ONLY cost $30 but us to get into the movie. The $14.75 at the concession stand was pretty outrageous. I about hit the floor when I had to pay $4.75 for a CUP of WATER. Yes folks good ole tap water with some ice in a paper cup! Mark figured up that is our water bill for about 6 days at our house. Next time I will smuggle in a bottle or at least enjoy a $5 soda instead!
It has been raining alot so the water has been too cold to so swimming. I'm totally fine with all the rain and cool temperatures that God wants to send our way at this point. As I'm pretty sure that my belly is going to explode on any given day. haha. We did take advantage of the cooler temperatures to find some baby clothes and gear out in the bonus room on Saturday morning. I didn't bring them inside yet but at least I know where to locate the "tiny" little clothes. Mark found all the parts to the crib & Carter is super excited about all the "new" toys he found for his baby brother.
Tonight he put a bag of ice on my belly and wanted to know if baby brother thought it was cold. Sunday after church he used the work "perhaps" correctly in a sentence. Last night he told us he was going to go get ready for bed while "you guys have a conversation." He went upstairs and played instead but it was still funny that he was going to get himself ready for bed. Then today he back talked his teachers and stayed in trouble all day. Seems he can't decide if he wants the Turner or a Dodd personality to shine through =-) atd
