Father's Day

Funny faces. Carter wanted everyone to help him bowl!

Carter is presenting his first real handmade Father's Day gift to Daddy! It is a key chain with Mark's initials. He made it at school and was super proud of it. I think Carter wanted to keep it instead of letting daddy have it.

The Gray's come to visit on Father's Day weekend. We all went bowling and had another fun outing at Sonic. Minus the rain this time. Last summer we went to Sonic to eat and it POURED buckets of rain. We also entertained ourselves by watching Emma, Elijah & Carter play X-Box, trains, base ball & several others. We celebrated Father's day and Grandma's birthday with a cook out on Sunday.

Carter wanted to stay all night at Grandma & Papa's with Emma and Elijah. He did great and didn't even blink twice when we left (or returned). The only glitch was Mommy forgot his toothbrush. Emma offered him a nice new princess toothbrush. His reply was "I'll just skip it tonight" accompanied by a very unhappy face.

We also stayed all night at Nana's on Friday night. I stayed too though. It rained and rained but Hope & Bryan did get an opportunity to show Carter how to ride his bike like a pro. However, Mommy let him fall off once while day dreaming. He had a nice bruise on his arm to show for it.

Friday, June 17th we went for another ultrasound to see how Mr. Fitness America is growing. Seems that he hasn't missed any meals. I was 29weeks & 4 days but he measured at an 31.5 weeks & weighted an estimated 3#11oz. (About 1#4oz more than he should be.) I'm guessing my luck he will probably arrive after his due date and weight 15#. The little Milk Dodd continues to be very feisty. He isn't even here yet and I had to stop blogging several times to get up and walk around to get him to be still! Bring it on little guy we can't wait to meet you...even if you still don't have a name. =-)
