Mommy's new self portrait! Mark and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary this past week. Grandma and Papa came over to wrangle the boys today so we could go out by ourselves. (I think we really both just wanted to nap...haha). We went to eat at our favorite Mexican dive and then to Toys-R-Us. If you are planning a wedding I recommend NOT doing it close to Christmas because you will spend every anniversary shopping for Christmas presents. It was a much needed break. We were both VERY grateful for Grandma and Papa giving us a time-out to enjoy each others company!
AJ slept without his swaddle for the first time last night. He slept as long as normal but was VERY noisy. Lots of crying out in his sleep which woke me up, but at least he kept sleeping. He is still doing lots of newborn things. Fist clinched most of the time and is toast about 1.5 hours after he wakes up. He is still napping in 30 minute spurts during the day, but does GReAT at night. I think he has started making more coo-ing and ooo-ing sounds over the past few days.
Thus far AJ hasn't been to daycare. I am so thankful for this, but miss him SO much when I'm at work. He gives Mark heck on Tuesdays but by Thursdays they are better friends.
Carter has gotten in trouble at school (& home) alot lately. Several times he has flipped two cards in one day. Which has been very embarrassing to me as a person, however I keep telling my self kids do dumb things. That is why they are kids. Shoot I'm thirty-something and still do dumb things, thankfully my boss doesn't have a card system. =-) atd
