Half Birthday

Without Leap Day Andrew James would not have had a 1/2 birthday. AJ turned 6 months old on February 29 at 3:11pm! So far he had been dropped once (way to go mom!), gotten 2 teeth, & rolled over 3 times!

Little man is sitting up good but we still have a spotter near him when he is on hard surfaces.
He gets SOO very mad when you lay him down flat these days.
Pumpkin got his first tooth last Sunday and Mark noticed another one today!
My sweet lil one still prefers to nurse instead of eat solids or drink from a bottle.
Carter is certainly the funniest person AJ has ever seen. Carter loves to make AJ laugh and AJ thinks anything Carter does is SO funny. You can tell that AJ can't wait to chase Carter everywhere!
My favorite nickname for him is "lil banshee." He starts yelling like a wild Indian when he gets tired. It is funny at first but quickly turns into, "put a sock in it & go to sleep kid!"

I came home from work early to steal a few extra minutes with my boys on AJ's big day. To celebrate his half birthday we took a trip to the bowling area (as Carter calls it). AJ loves all the action & lights when we are out and about. However he had himself a nice screaming fit on the way home because he was all tuckered out. To pay me back for keeping him out too late he woke up 4+ times last night...So I'm headed to bed now!
