Zonkers after the Zoo

Being a mom to two boys was much easier during Spring Break than Fall Break was. AJ was about 6 weeks old at fall break and well just starting to decide he didn't like to sleep...EVER. Spring Break was another story. AJ still won't sleep, but I just decided to throw caution to the wind and stop trying so hard to get him to sleep.

We spent the first day hanging out with Nana. The next day I got REALLY brave and We got in & out of the car nine times doing errands. I even took both kids to eat lunch at a restaurant, went to the park & stopped for ice cream on the way home. AJ was a tired mess that night at dinner!

Mark got super brave & took both boys to the zoo by himself. Came back home & left the house again to go to Target all in the same day.

Somewhere in there I took both kids to the doctor for AJ's six month check-up (21#3oz of pure mama milk). I also started making baby food during spring break & AJ is eating much like a hungry little monkey with a spoon very well & even doing better with his bottle.

We also made a trip to Kentucky & attended Parrin's birthday party too! The four of use also waited out a small monsoon in Target. We tried to schedule some play dates but all Carter's friends but friends were sick or away on vacation.

We also survived a time change over Spring Break. It was the easiest time change since Carter was born. Probably because there was no schedule to adhere too!

Wheww wee. Just writing about all that made me tired! I'd better go give my big monster some scratch-ies before he falls asleep.
