Emma & Elijah came to visit for the weekend in early August. We kept busy with some of Carter's favorite places to hang out.
AJ's hair was arranged by the wind on the way to Grandma's & Papas house.

The Grand Finale at Go-Carts. The kids are still talking about this experience 6 months later.
I don't remember who won the race but the pairs were Emma & Mark; Gary & Elijah; Papa & Carter. All of whom were CRAZY drivers!!
Grandma hurt herself playing bad mitten on Friday when the kids arrived. Elijah had a nasty cold & fever. AJ was cranky. We made some great memories despite all the obstacles.
Lisa & Gary went to Baltimore, MD for the weekend for a Dodd cousin reunion. They had a fun time in Maryland & got to go to the Go Cart place with us when they returned.
Carter was super excited to have Emma & Elijah sleep over even though he ended up in bed with Mommy & Daddy. I still secretly enjoy when he wants to sleep with us. I know it won't last much longer, because he is growing up TOO fast!
